Farm to Table international 2014 was a great opportunity for networking, learning about the varied facets of the F2T movement, and finding out what is new. The speakers were terrific and the whole symposium was bigger and better than last year. The Farm to Table International Symposium (F2Ti) is an annual event that brings together the leading practitioners in the burgeoning farm-to-table movement to explore the cultivation, distribution, and consumption of food and drink sourced locally, and will be held in New Orleans, August 2 – 4, 2014. This year’s theme, “The Process,” will explore the best practices for urban farming, bringing products to market, sourcing locally, sustainability, the latest with the imposing Food Safety Modernization Act, and many other topics.
